About me
I'm mostly self-taught, and I get into things by doing them — setting them up, breaking them, and figuring out what actually happened. This blog is where I document that process.
My focus right now is security. I'm working toward becoming a red teamer — offensive security, vulnerability research, understanding how systems fail. The honeypot post is a good example of how I approach it: spin something up, expose it, watch what comes in.
In my free time I build game-like experiences. I'm fascinated by the overlap between technology and psychology — how game mechanics can get people genuinely engaged with something they'd otherwise avoid. I've built one to teach terminal basics and I'm working on a gamified language learning app. Neither is public yet.
